Hands and hand gestures form the basis of an effective logo. How so? Firstly, they are instantly recognizable. For example, this gym uses the culturally-accepted thumbs up in their logo because it’s widely seen as a positive gesture which is encouraging, motivating, and reiterates the company’s message that they are a “judgement free zone.” Their ability to form letters can spice up text, which assists the logo of one of TV’s most popular shows.
